Adult Judo Classes
The adult Program at Bushido Kai Judo Inc is for youths and adults and is held in the Penfield Recreation Department Gym on Mondays and Wednesdays 7:15-9:15pm and teaches the Olympic sport and martial art of Judo. Classes focus on all level of athlete from beginner and recreational player through International Competitor. With a large instructional staff, Bushido Kai Judo Inc can focus on all belt ranks and has something for everyone. While Bushido Kai Judo Inc participates in many competitions through out the year, tournaments are not required.
Training in Judo has many benefits: workouts are both aerobic and an-aerobic, build fitness, strength, agility, endurance. Training in Judo builds confidence, respect and teaches hard work. A typical class at Bushido Kai Judo Inc consists of warm-ups, drills, instructional time and sparring (randori).

Frequently Asked Questions
What age groups do you cater to?
We offer judo classes for both adults and children. Kids classes start are for ages 5 to 10. Adult classes are 10 and up.
Do you offer trial classes?
Our class sessions roughly follow the seasons of the year. We do not pro-rate classes, but we welcome you to sit in on a class prior to joining to see if you would like it.
Do I need any experience?
Our programs are designed to accommodate various skill levels and age ranges, ensuring everyone can participate.
What should I wear to class?
Students are required to wear a judo gi for classes. If you do not have one, we can assist you in purchasing or renting a gi suitable for your training needs. For your first class plan to wear sweatpants and a tee shirt if you don’t have a judo gi, in case we do not have your size in stock.
